You’ve received a Famous Woman Badge!

Lubna of Córdoba was (probably) a real person

We don’t know much about her life, but we think that Lubna was born in the Madinat al-Zahra, a palace in Córdoba. She was probably born a slave, but later was made free and started working the the library as a copyist. She wrote many books and was good at lots of things, including maths, writing poetry and science.

Eventually she was put in charge of the library at the Madinat al-Zahra - a very important job.

Every time you meet a woman who was a known historical figure, you get a Famous Woman Badge.
